Hi, I’m El — an aspiring UX designer based in Portland, Oregon.

I’ve always had a natural inclination towards wanting to understand how things work and what makes people tick. 

This curiosity has fueled my passion for UX design, where I have the opportunity to merge my love for art and creative problem-solving with inclusive, collaborative design practices.

I began my career in cannabis retail management and operations, where I focused on fostering meaningful connections and crafting seamless, empathetic experiences aligned with business goals. I specialized in enhancing multi-departmental communication and optimizing customer experience flows through research-based implementation. Driven by a passion for solving complex challenges, I transitioned into UX Design to create impactful, intuitive solutions.

Outside of design, I enjoy experimenting with my Nikon EM film camera, exploring enneagrams and mysticism, and learning about astrology and numerology. I am a firm believer in continuous learning, always embracing the role of a student, both professionally and in my personal growth.
